CRP: An Inflammation Marker

May 2, 2026

I led a team of BVIS students as the showrunner for this animation in collaboration with Microverse Studios to create a medical animation for our client MedEvidence. My main role as showrunner was to keep the project on time and to maintain an organized style across all of the animators. In addition, I animated the scene where plaque builds up in a cross-section of an arterial vessel. I also took on the job of editing the entire animation in After Effects for a polished product.

The animation aims to educate patients living with chronic inflammation about C-reactive protein (CRP) testing. By the end of the animation, viewers should have an understanding of what CRP is, how it functions within the immune response, and why it serves as a clinically meaningful indicator of chronic inflammation.
