The purpose of this poster is to reach a patient population about the severe progression and side-effects of endometriosis, which has historically been an extremely under-represented disease in the medical field.
The primary illustration, drawn in Photoshop, focuses on the bisected uterus is meant to relate the inner-lining of the uterus to the irregular external endometrial growth.
Additionally, the organ icons were created as vector art in Illustrator. Design choices were made to incorporate organic shapes that imitate the anatomy and color-palate of the uterus to give a cohesive feel.
