DNA Replication

February 15, 2025

This poster introduces high school biology students to the process of DNA replication, illustrating how cells accurately copy their genetic information before dividing. It shows how the DNA double helix is unwound and separated, with each strand serving as a template to build a new, complementary strand, resulting in two identical DNA molecules, each containing one original and one newly synthesized strand.

Graphic design plays a central role in the poster, using visual flow and clear sequencing to draw learners in and guide them through each key enzyme and step involved in the process. By highlighting these key players, the poster helps students understand how DNA replication maintains genetic continuity and supports growth, repair, and the continuation of life itself.
