This animation depicts the journey of fertilization within the fallopian tube, following sperm as they travel toward the egg. While in reality, many sperm compete to reach the egg, the visualization simplifies this process to a single sperm making the journey, a deliberate choice to keep the biology clear and accessible for high school students, avoiding the visual clutter that dozens of competing sperm might create.
Beyond the educational content, careful attention was given to the aesthetic experience. Custom materials and lighting were used to render the cellular environment with a warm, luminous quality capturing the wonder of new life beginning.
